Privacy Policy
Assetly Financial Manager Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 12, 2026
This policy explains how Assetly handles information for assetlymanager.online, the hosted workspace, account sign-in, Stripe checkout, purchase recovery, and Assetly Financial Manager.
1. The Short Version
Assetly is designed as a local-first personal finance workspace. Financial records you enter in the hosted browser workspace stay in that browser's local storage unless you choose to export, back up, share, send information through optional features, or subscribe to hosted cloud save. The website collects only the information needed to manage accounts, sell the app, confirm payment, provide workspace access, operate optional cloud save, send recovery emails, respond to support, measure page visits, and protect the service.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following information depending on how you use Assetly:
- Checkout and purchase information, such as your email address, payment status, Stripe checkout session ID, customer ID, setup intent ID, payment intent ID, trial status, subscription ID, subscription status, and license access records.
- Account information through Supabase Auth, such as your user ID, email address, sign-in status, and authentication records needed to operate your account.
- Optional hosted cloud save data, if you subscribe, including the finance workspace snapshot you choose to sync to Assetly's Supabase database.
- Recovery information, such as the email address you submit to recover purchase access and temporary recovery tokens.
- Support information, such as messages you send us and any receipt or device details you choose to include.
- Technical information from the website and hosting providers, such as IP address, browser type, request logs, security logs, cookies, and device or usage data needed to operate and protect the site.
- Analytics information through Vercel Web Analytics, such as page views, referrers, approximate location, browser, operating system, and device information. Assetly does not intentionally send financial workspace records, balances, transaction names, tax details, or support message content to analytics.
3. Local and Cloud Financial Data
Assetly Financial Manager stores workspace records locally in your browser by default. That may include income, debt, credit cards, investments, crypto, taxes, savings goals, notes, settings, and backups you create. Assetly does not need that local workspace data to process your purchase, subscription, or account sign-in.
If you subscribe to Cloud Subscription, Assetly syncs a validated workspace snapshot to Supabase so the same signed-in account can load hosted records. Cloud save requires an active subscription or beta access.
If you use optional AI, market-data, support, import/export, or sharing features, the information needed for that feature may be sent to the provider you configure, to a local app process, or to Assetly support if you send it to us.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- process purchases, subscriptions, and payment status through Stripe;
- provide workspace license access, cloud save access, and purchase recovery links;
- create and manage sign-in/sign-up sessions through Supabase Auth;
- send recovery emails for previous purchases;
- measure page visits and understand which pages visitors view;
- respond to support requests;
- maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot bugs, and improve the product;
- comply with tax, accounting, legal, and fraud-prevention obligations.
5. Service Providers
We use service providers to operate Assetly. These providers process information for us according to their own terms and privacy commitments:
- Stripe for checkout, subscriptions, payment processing, receipts, and payment records;
- Supabase for account authentication, sign-in, sign-up, session management, and optional hosted cloud save records;
- Vercel for website hosting, serverless functions, logs, private Blob storage, and Web Analytics page-view measurement;
- Resend for transactional email such as purchase recovery messages;
- optional providers you configure, such as market-data providers or OpenAI-compatible AI providers.
We do not sell personal information.
6. Cookies, Analytics, and Workspace Access
Assetly and its providers may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for sign-in, purchase access, local workspace storage, cloud save status, security, and analytics. You can clear browser cookies or storage, but doing so may sign you out, remove local finance records from that browser, or require purchase recovery again.
7. Retention
We keep purchase and recovery records for as long as reasonably needed to provide workspace access, support, security, accounting, legal compliance, and fraud prevention. Temporary recovery tokens expire. Local workspace records remain under your control on your device unless you export, delete, or share them. Optional cloud save records remain associated with your account unless you delete them, request deletion, or Assetly removes them according to service operations.
8. Your Choices
You can request access, correction, deletion, or other help with personal information we hold by emailing support@assetlymanager.online. We may need information to verify and complete your request. To remove local workspace records, use Assetly's local data controls or your browser storage controls. To request deletion of hosted cloud save records, email us from the account email or include enough information for verification.
9. Security
We use reasonable safeguards for the website, account records, purchase records, and workspace access flow. No internet or local storage system is perfectly secure, so keep your device, backups, email account, and API keys protected.
10. Children
Assetly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
11. Changes
We may update this policy as Assetly changes. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and post the revised policy on this page.
